DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH
English study has a unique and predominant role in the communicative sphere of the world. It also has a unique identity in the field of education. The English language teaching has four objectives to develop four skills: (i) Reading, (ii) speaking, (iii) Listening (iv) Writing. Nowadays, more and more people are choosing to study. English all the time as its international importance in every field of life is becoming increasingly apparent.
Objectives:

To develop knowledge and understanding of grammar.

To develop abilities to make use of the grammar in one’s writing.

To motivate students for more studying English.

To improve creative writing.

To develop the ability to grasping the theme of a poem or English passage.

To help shape individuals into outstanding scholars, teachers, researchers and responsible citizens.

To promote and expand productive, innovative and diverse research that generates new literary approaches and contributes to studying languages and literature worldwide.

To promote a study and understand societies, cultures, traditions and history through literary texts from across the globe.

To enhance the awareness of the English language and its correlation with other cultures and communities.
